Animal Craft Ideas for Kids

Materials:

• Cardboard
• Round stickers
• Crayons or markers
• A black pen

• Cut around the outline.
• Using scissors, cut out openings for eyes and a nose.
• Color the cow's head.

• Thread the sewing yarn through the holes and tie.

Materials:

• A printed picture of a dinosaur
• An A4 sized piece of cardboard
• An A4 sized paper sticker
• A cardboard box
• Crayons or markers

• Scissors

Instructions:

Preparation of box

• Wrap and decorate the cardboard box.
• Print the picture of the dinosaur on the paper sticker.
• Color the picture.
• Stick the sticker onto the cover of the box. (The sticker is to aid the children in forming the jigsaw puzzle.)

Preparation of the jigsaw puzzle

• Print the picture of the dinosaur onto the cardboard.
• Draw around the outline with a black pen.
• Color the picture in the exact way you colored the sticker.
• Print the jigsaw puzzle design onto the colored picture. ( If you wish you may draw the design yourself with a black pen.)
• Cut the cardboard out according to the design.
• Keep the jigsaw puzzle pieces in the box.

Materials:

• Plastic construction sheets
• Crayons or markers

• Choose pictures of animals and print them out.
• Copy the pictures onto the Plastic construction sheets
• Color the pictures.
• Cut out the characters.
• Stick a magnet on the back of each character. ( You can use business card magnets that you have at home.)
• Decorate your refrigerator with the animal magnets.

Minnie Mouse Memoboard

Materials:

• Different colored foam sheets
• Colored stickers
• Crayons or markers
• A black pen
• Scissors
• A magnet
• A stapler
• 2 Paper clips
• Memo paper
• Glue

Instructions:

• Choose a picture of Minnie Mouse.
• Copy the character onto the colored foam sheet.
• Draw around the outline with a black pen.
• Cut around the outline.
• Color the character.
• Cut out a colored foam sheet board to 25 x 20 centimeters.
• Staple the colored foam together with the colored character.
• Cut a frame out of colored foam and staple onto the foam sheet board.
• Decorate with stickers.
• Make two holes on the foam board and push the paper clips through.
• Insert the memo paper into the paper clips.
• Stick magnets on the back four corners of the foam board.
