Biscuit Cake

This cake is perfect for hot summer days. Layers of cream interlaced with layers of biscuits give this cake its special flavor. The chocolate sprinkles topping gives it a rich and appetizing appearance.

Ingredients

  • 350 grams square biscuits
  • 2 pkts instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 pkt whipping cream
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 bar of bitter chocolate

Method

  • Whip the instant vanilla pudding with one pkt of whipping cream and one cup of milk.
  • Dip the biscuits in milk and then arrange them in a rectangular dish.
  • Spread a layer of cream over the layer of biscuits.
  • Arrange another layer of pre-dipped biscuits on top.
  • Spread another layer of cream over the layer of biscuits.
  • Arrange the final layer of pre-dipped biscuits on top.
  • Spread the remainder of cream over the layer of biscuits.
  • Grate the chocolate over the cake, so that the chocolate completely covers the cream.
  • Refrigerate for a few hours.

Chocolate Cake

This simple chocolate cake is suitable all year round. A ball of ice-cream on the side will add taste and color.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 pkts baking powder
  • 1 1/2 pkts vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water

Method

  • Heat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  • Grease a round or rectangular baking tin.
  • Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased baking tin.
  • Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
How will you know that the cake is ready? Insert a tooth pick. If it comes out dry, the cake is ready.

Maple Cake

This cake is my favorite of all of the easy cake recipes. Its rich flavor is a total contrast to its easy preparation.

Ingredients

    Maple Cake

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 250 grams cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • (It's possible to use 3 cups of regular flour + baking powder.)
  • 100 grams ground nuts
  • 1 bottle maple syrup

Method

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  • Mix all the ingredients, apart from the nuts and the maple syrup, together in a bowl.
  • Grease 3 long baking tins.
  • Divide the mixture equally between the three baking tins and sprinkle the ground nuts on top.
  • Bake for approximately 40 minutes.
  • Remove the cakes from the oven and pour the maple syrup over them.

Carrot Cake

This cake is sweet and delicious. It can be served for dessert after a meal, or can be added to the dessert activity.

Ingredients

  • 5 large carrots
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup raisons
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup crushed walnuts
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Method

  • Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees celsius.
  • Peel the carrots and grate them into a bowl.
  • Add the oil and the eggs and mix well.
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  • Place the mixture into a greased baking tin.
  • Bake for approximately 45 minutes.

Date and Nut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 jar date spread
  • 200 grams ground walnuts
  • 200 grams margarine
  • 400 grams biscuit crumbs

Method

  • Place all of the ingredients in a bowl
  • Combine the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth.
  • Make the mixture into a roll, and place into a nylon bag.
  • Refrigerate for one hour (It's possible to keep it in the freezer.)
  • Cut the cake into slices, and serve.
