Kids Write a Book Recommendation

Has your child already experienced writing a book recommendation? If he has, that's great, but if he hasn't here's an amazing incentive to encourage him to write one:

Write his recommendation here!

Ask your child to choose his favorite reading book and discuss the book with him. Ask him questions such as:
  • What is the book about?
  • Why do you like this book so much?
  • Would you recommend that other kids read this book? Why?

Next, assist him in the writing process. It is important to include the following in the recommendation:

  • The title of the book and the name of the author and illustrator
  • A specification of the age group that the book is appropriate for
  • A summary of the story
  • A detailed as possible explanation as to why other kids should read this book

Once your child has finished writing the book recommendation, correct together his spelling and grammar mistakes, and when you are ready, return to the site and...

Write Your Book Recommendation Here!

In addition to your book recommendation, you may share your experience of the writing process with us. I will be more than happy to hear about it.
