Here I am with the most wonderful twins in the world! Am I objective or what?

So let me tell you a little bit about me....

Ever since I was a little girl, I dreamed about being a teacher. I've always loved children, so when it came time to decide "What will I be when I grow up?"...the answer was obvious....a teacher! And so, I'm proud to say that I've been teaching elementary school in Israel, in a school close to home, for the last thirteen years....and I absolutely LOVE it!

Through the years, parents often turn to me and ask for advice concerning afterschool activities. Time after time I found myself suggesting activites that could be done at home. I started sounding like a broken record, when it dawned on me....I needed to come up with my own design for an after school-school vacation program for kids and start getting the word out to the masses!

Did I mention my second love (after teaching)? No...well, I happen to love computers and the internet. Via of my work, I discovered the world of computers...and that was it! I fell head-over-heels in love with them and all the possibilities they provide. Honestly, I can't think of a better way to describe my "love affair" with them!

Slowly, but surely, it became clear to me what I needed to do....I would build a website about kids' activities. That way, parents looking for ideas for their kids could just log on to the site and find the solutions to their after school needs. Sounds like a great idea, doesn't it?

Only one problem....me.....building a website? What? How? Where?

Sure...I love computers, that's a given. But the road from "knowing how to turn on a computer" to actually building a website is a very long one!

But I was a woman on a mission. I wasn't about to give up on my plan! Where there's a will, there's a way...(I'm a teacher, after all. It's my job to search for knowledge). And that's what I did....I started searching on the internet.....and searching.....and searching. I Googled, and Yahooed, but nothing that fit into my learning curve was coming up....I was almost to the point of giving up....and then...I discovered this website....
