Official Contest Rules
HOW TO ENTER
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. To enter complete the online form at
www.activities-for-kids.net/summer-activities-and-games-contest . Incomplete entries will be disqualified. All entries and photographs shall become the sole property of Activities-for-Kids.net and will not be returned. Contest begins at 12:00 A.M. April 27, 2008, and all entries must be received before midnight on June 30, 2008. Void where prohibited by law.
Activities-for-Kids.net is not responsible for lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic.
WINNER SELECTION AND JUDGING CRITERIA
Winners will be selected by Activities-for-kids.net's staff. The judges will choose one first place winner, one second-place winner and one third-place winner from all the eligible entries received.
The judging criteria to be used in selecting the finalists will be (1) 50 percent for creativity and originality of the summer activities and games, and (2) 50 percent for the quality of the activities and fun factor.
The winners will be notified by e-mail on or about July 15, 2008. By participating, entrants agree to the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final and binding in all respects.
CONTEST PRIZES
One (1) First Prize winner will receive a $50 US Amazon Gift Certificate. One (1) Second Prize winner will receive a $25 US Amazon Gift Certificate. One (1) Third Prize winner will receive a $15 US Amazon Gift Certificate.
If the selected winners are unreachable, ineligible, or fail to claim the prize within seven (7) days, the winners will forfeit their prizes and the runner-ups will be contacted.
Any tax on a prize is the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitution, cash alternative or transfer of any prize is permitted. If a winner cannot accept their prize for any reason, then the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner.
Activities-for-kids.net reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value in the event prizes are unavailable.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Submission of an entry constitutes the irrevocable grant to activities-for-kids.net of all rights in the entry, all rights to publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such entry in any way and in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration or acknowledgment to the entrant and the unconditional right to use the photograph and statements about the promotion for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
All entrants, as a condition of entry into the Contest, agree to release activities-for-kids.net from and against and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by participation in the contest or the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse of a prize or participation in any prize-related activities.
