Fun Kids' Easter Egg Games That Even You Will Love

These Easter egg games you just have to try. This holiday, slot a family games evening into your itinerary, and allow yourself to let your hair down and play with the kids.

There's no doubt in my mind that you will enjoy it no less than the kids.

Task Eggs

  • Place small notes with written tasks on them into plastic eggs.
  • Place the eggs into a basket.
  • In turn, each participant draws an egg from the basket, and carries out the task that is written inside it.
  • The success of the game is dependent on your ideas for the tasks. The tasks should be entertaining, in order to maintain the interest of the participants.
  • For example: You must run and put on pajamas and be back here within a minute; or, You must make up your face as a rabbit.
  • Do not remove the clothes or make-up until the end of the game.

Letter Game

  • Prepare 26 Polystyrene eggs on each of which is written a different letter of the alphabet.
  • Place all of the eggs into a large bowl.
  • In turn, each participant draws an egg from the bowl, and has to name a word which begins with the letter that is written on the egg. The word has to be related to the holiday.
  • If a participant succeeds, he/she takes the egg, if however he/she does not succeed in finding an appropriate word, the egg must be returned to the bowl, and the turn is passed on to the next participant.
  • The game is continued until no eggs remain in the bowl.
  • The participant who has accumulated the largest number of eggs is the winner.

Bull's Eye

  • Color Polystyrene eggs in any fashion you wish.
  • Prepare a basket, and leave it at the end of the room.
  • In turn, throw the balls in the direction of the basket and try to get a bull's eye.
  • Does it sound easy? It really isn't. Try it for yourself.

A Surprise Egg

  • Place party favors into plastic eggs.
  • Number the eggs using stickers.
  • Write down the numbers of the eggs and what is inside them on a piece of paper.
  • Place all of the eggs into the basket.
  • In turn, each participant chooses one egg from the basket, and has to find out what is hiding inside.
  • The compere has to help the participants to discover the identity of the favors by giving hints or by miming.
  • If a participant manages to guess what is inside his/her egg he/she receives it for him/herself.
  • However, if a participant does not manage to guess what is inside his/her egg, then he/she must return the egg to the basket, and the turn goes to the next participant.
