Fun Beach Activities for Kids

The hot summer often brings us to the beach. It's a good idea to take advantage of the time spent there for fun beach activities for kids. In this way you will pass the time with your kids enjoyably and constructively.

You could even arrange a beach party; I'm sure the kids won't be opposed to that. ;-)

21 ball passes

• Get organized in a circle in shallow water.
• Choose one child to stand in the center of the circle.

• The ones who are standing in the circle begin to throw the ball to each other while at the same time counting the number of passes.
• The object of the game is to reach 21 passes without the ball being dropped or caught by the child in the center.
• The child in the center has to try and catch the ball.
• If the ball is dropped. The count starts from the beginning, and the child in the center of the circle is awarded a point.
• If 21 passes is reached then the point goes to the kids in the circle.
• If the child in the center catches the ball, then the child who threw the ball joins him in the center of the circle.

Water transportation

• Place two large buckets 10 meters away from the sea.
• The children form two lines next to the sea, while facing the buckets.

• The first child in line receives a plastic cup.
• When the organizer gives the word, the kids have to run to the sea, fill their cups, and run to pour the water into their team's bucket.
• They then run back to their team and pass the cup on to the next child in line, who will run to fill their bucket with sea water and then join the end of the line.
• The team who fills their bucket with the most sea water within five minutes wins the game.

Water catch

• The players stand in shallow water.

• Each player receives a number from the organizer.
• The players have to remember the numbers that they have received and keep them a secret.
• Each time the organizer calls out a number, the player whose number has been called becomes the catcher and has to chase the other players and catch them.
• A player who is caught has to get out of the water until another number is called out, at which time he may return to the water.
