Fun Kids' Crafts

Fun Kids CraftsAs someone who works with kids on a day to day basis, having a large bank of arts and crafts activities is essential. Although I do have quite a selection of activities of my own, I am always on the look out for new ideas.

During the course of my search I came across the "Fun Kids' Crafts" e-book. Although the e-book made quite an impression on me I deliberated a great deal whether to purchase it. I have already had experience with purchasing e-books that were full of promises and had been disappointed, so naturally I had my doubts about this e-book too. I decided not to purchase the e-book until I had found ample information and recommendations on the e-book to satisfy me.

And hence, after reading positive reviews about the "Fun Kids' Crafts" e-book I purchased it myself. As soon as I had downloaded it I began flipping through the pages. I just couldn't stop. This vast collection was fascinating. The pictures which accompanied many of the activities revealed beautiful, original and easy to make arts and crafts.

It was obvious that the e-book required more in depth examination so I decided to get back to it later on in order to take a closer look at the activities; and what did I find? Even more wonderful activities. This time I discovered the activities that did not have accompanying pictures too. The pictures were definitely lacking in these activities, for what could be better for demonstrating the end product than visual aids. Luckily, the explanations were so clear that I could almost picture the end product in my mind.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that all of the activities that require drawing, cutting and sticking come complete with printable templates. Since my drawing skills are not especially well developed (to put it lightly), activities such as these are always problematic for me if a printable template is not included.

I especially liked the arts and crafts activities suggested for Father's Day. These activities used original materials that I would never have thought of using for arts and crafts activities, together with some more conventional ones. All of the arts and crafts are easy to make and the end result is just gorgeous. One of the activities even has a very touching greeting that you can write to your dad. Just perfect...

Lego Frame

Lego Frame Instead of going out and buying an expensive gift this holyday, why not do a craft that kids make for fathers day instead?

These projects cost little or nothing to make, and dad will love the fact that they are homemade! So bring all the kids together and try out these crafts kids make for fathers day this year.

Materials Needed:

  • Legos in different sizes (flat kind are best)
  • Wallet size photo

Method:

  • Build a small picture frame using Legos you have on hand.
  • Be sure to try the photo to make sure the hole is the right size.
  • Add a hinge to the back if you would like it to be able to fold up.

Edible arts and crafts?! What a great idea! When I saw this amazing selection of arts and crafts, I couldn't help wondering how I didn't think of them myself. I could only imagine what excitement they would conjure up with the kids.

  • Decorate further with smarties or M&M's.

Well, I won't go into detail about all the activities that appear in the "Fun Kids' Crafts" e-book. The e-book has 379 pages and include over 700 arts and crafts activities, on various themes for kids between the ages of 3 and 12. This is definitely an adequate amount of activities for all the days of the year.

So, if you are interested in quality arts and crafts activities for your kids, that will get them away from the TV and the computer, and will keep them occupied during the cold winter months, during the long vacations or in the afternoons - this is the e-book for you! Needless to say I am already equipped and am extremely satisfied.
