Halloween Greeting Cards

Have you already stocked up on Halloween greeting cards?

The more options there are, the harder the choice becomes. These days we have a number of options available to us when sending Halloween greeting cards, ranging from sending ecards via email, to preparing homemade greeting cards and sending them either by mail or delivering them personally.

Although personally I use a variety of ways to send greeting cards, for those closest to me I prefer to prepare homemade greeting cards, and to write the greeting in my own handwriting to add a more personal touch.

Whether you wish to prepare greeting cards for Halloween by yourself or with your child, here is a great original idea for preparing a homemade greeting card.

Boo! Happy Halloween

Cut out strips out of the remaining
construction paper ( 5 white strips
and 3 black strips ) 0.5 cm in width
( about a quarter of an inch).
Roll the white strips and two of the black
strips to a roll and stick the end with glue.

Squash the two black rolls
to get the shape of an eye.

Divide the remaining black strip into two.
Roll one part up into a roll, stick it at the
end and squash (this is the nose).
Fold the second part into an accordion
(this will serve as the mouth).

white rolls to create a 3D character.

Stick the character on black construction
paper so that it protrudes from the window
that you created earlier. Stick on the eyes,
nose and mouth in the appropriate places.
Cut out the front page greeting and stick
it above the window.
