This book is about how Mariah and her friends the Friendly Five plan a surprise birthday party for Mariah's sister, Lynn. But will the surprise birthday party turn out perfect?

Lynn is about to find out about the surprise birthday party. This happens a lot of times. The day before Lynn's birthday party she announces that all she wants to do for her birthday is stay in bed all day. That made Mariah worried and ask herself if Lynn already knew about her surprise birthday party. Mariah also has to plan a swim meet. How will everything turn out to be?

I liked this book because I liked to read how they all plan the surprise birthday and to see Lynn's face when she first sees it.

I recommend this book to all the people who like realistic fiction bookstand surprise parties and happy endings.
