Summer Party Games

Your summer party games are waiting for you right here

Summer vacation is a great time for parties. Are you planning a party soon? If so, here you will find suitable games for your party. Simply choose the right games for you.

Balloon Games

What's more suitable for summer than balloon games? With or without water, children are always happy to play with balloons. Here are some summer party games that your children will love.

I Get It - I'm Out
This is a team game and therefore suitable for running all the children participating in the party.

To play the game have the children sit in a circle. Start playing background music. When the music stops, the child who is holding the balloon has to leave the game. Keep playing this way. The last child that will remain is the winner.

Balloon Race
This is a competitive game between two groups.
  • Divide the children into two groups.
  • Arrange the children in a line.
  • In front of each group at a distance of about 10 meters place a large bucket with balloons in it.
  • The first child in each line should run to the bucket to take a balloon. Then he has to run back to his group and put the balloon on the ground.
  • Once he put the balloon down, the next child in line should run to take a balloon.
  • The game continues this way until the final whistle.
  • After the final whistle, count the balloons of each group.
  • The group that gathered the largest number of balloons is the winner.

Throwing Water Balloons
This is another competitive game between two groups.
  • Divide the children into two groups.
  • Place two large buckets for each group; one bucket filled with water balloons next to the group and one empty bucket 3 meters away from the group.
  • In turns, each child should take a balloon from the bucket and throw it into the empty one.
  • A precise shot into the bucket gives the team one point.
  • The group that accumulates the most points within the time allotted is the winner.

Games for Pairs

Your summer party games can also be in pairs.

Collecting Objects
  • Spread various objects on the floor.
  • Choose two children to compete for collecting objects.
  • Each child will stand in another corner holding a basket in his hands.
  • At the sound of the whistle, each child has to run and collect as many objects as he can into the basket.
  • The game ends when there are no objects left on the floor.
  • The winner of the game is the one who has the most objects in his basket.

From Bowl to Bowl
Pairs competition
  • Place on a chair a bowl full of water.
  • In front of the chair at a distance of about 5 meters put another chair.
  • Place an empty bowl on that chair with a glass in it.
  • Each participant stands next to the chair with the empty bowl.
  • At the sound of the whistle, each participant has to run to the bowl with the water, fill the glass and pour the water into the empty bowl.
  • Each participant has one minute to fill his bowl with water.
  • The winner is the child who has more water in his bowl after a minute.
